Board Goals

  • All students will meet or exceed proficiency in reading with an increase of one year’s growth as measured by criterion-based, nationally norm-referenced or common assessments.
 
  • All students will meet or exceed proficiency in science, technology, engineering, and math with an increase of one year’s growth as measured by criterion-based, nationally norm-referenced, or common assessments.
 
  • All students will meet or exceed proficiency in writing with an increase of one year’s growth as measured by criterion-based, nationally norm-referenced or common assessments.
 
  • All students will meet or exceed proficiency in social studies with an increase of one year’s growth as measured by criterion-based, nationally norm-referenced or common assessments.
 
  • Each district building will maintain Adequate Yearly Progress, thus meeting or exceeding State and Federal requirements.
 
  • The Board of Education will strive to maintain a balanced budget while maintaining the district's high standards/expectations for all students.
