Superintendent Jon Felske is a graduate of Albion College where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Education. He also received a masters degree in educational leadership from Saginaw State University, and an education specialist degree in superintendency at Saginaw Valley State University. He is completing his 25th year in education which includes positions as a classroom teacher, college basketball coach, athletic director, principal and assistant principal as well as superintendent. He has worked in urban,suburban and rural districts and is starting his 8th year at Wyoming Public Schools, which is his longest tenure in any one public school setting. He is currently serving as the first superintendent in the state to share superintendent duties for two districts the size of the Wyoming Public and Godwin Heights districts. Mr. Felske also serves as an adjunct professor at Grand Valley State University where he teaches educational leadership and curriculum.

Mrs. Diaz was hired in 2005 as the Director of Instruction for Godwin Heights Public Schools. She began her teaching career at North Godwin Elementary School. While in the Godwin District, Mrs. Diaz has taught ESL classes, served as the ESL & Foreign Language Director, managed Champions of Diversity group, and was principal at North Godwin Elementary for four years. |

Mr. Johnson is a 1985 Godwin Heights graduate and a (MSBO) certified Facilities Director. In 1988 he began working at Godwin as a maintenance and custodian person throughout the district. . He became Facilities Director in 2000. Mr. Johnson is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Facilities, Food Service and Transportation.

Mr. Powers, CPA, is the Finance Director for the district. He oversees budgeting and accounting functions, and his time is shared with Wyoming Public Schools where he serves in a similar capacity. Prior to Mr. Powers’ move to Wyoming, he worked with Lansing School district first as an internal auditor, then as the Chief Financial Officer. |
