District Awarded Grant Funds: 

Godwin Heights Public Schools is proud to announce that it has been awarded $98,497 through a competitive Federal grant that only 108 districts nationwide received. The grant will allow the district to improve and strengthen its emergency management plans through a collaborate effort with local emergency responders, public health agencies, and mental health agencies. Funds will allow for the training of school staff and students on emergency procedures, improve building access control, provide a method of communicating emergency and reunification procedures to parents and guardians, as well as implementing the National Incident Management System throughout the District.
